A Match Made in Heaven

This year for Valentine's Day, Seche and China Glaze released an adorable gift set called "A Match Made in Heaven":

The set contains:
Seche Clear crystal clear base coat
Seche Vite fast dry top coat (the best top coat ever)
Nail decals:

I did a really cute Valentine's Day manicure with these decals but I can't seem to find the pictures anywhere. Decals are much easier to use than those pesky heart nail polishes.

China Glaze nail polish in Innocence:

china glaze innocence

China Glaze Innocence is my new go-to sheer pink. This sheer, almost jellyish light pink is one of the few I have ever used that looks OK with two coats. This swatch is three coats, but it is more than wearable at two coats if you are in a hurry. For a sheer pink it is exceptionally non streaky.

This limited edition set is available for a limited time in select salons and spas.

  1. Hey Katee! That's definitely a very innocent color. I've actually been looking for a sheer pink nail polish. I have been recommended Essie Ballet Slippers. Have you tried that color? Is it good? Thx

  6. @La Mimi - Ballet Slippers is more opaque than this. It is almost a bit chalky to me. I definitely prefer Innocence. Mademoiselle by Essie is another good one. Ballet Slippers isn't bad, it just isn't a favorite of mine.

    @Lucy - thank you!

    @Maestra - it was really cute :)

    @Sanna - thanks!!

    @Vanessa - thanks!

    @Anon - practice! I remove it nail polish remover. No it is not hard.

  8. I just picked up this color at Ulta on Sat. I can't wait to try it. I needed a sheer pink. You never know when you might feel like wearing a little color.

  9. I just picked up this color at Ulta on Sat. for $3.99! Every now and then I am in the mood for a really light pink color and now I've got one. Thanks for the suggestion.

  10. Just found your blog while googling this awesome color! I had my nails done at the local salon today and when I asked for a really sheer, neutral, "goes-with-anything-and-everything" color, the manicurist pulled out China Glaze "Innocence." While I usually go for deep, dark colors (I have a history of Chanel's various Vamp's and OPI's Linkin Park, etc.) this hit the spot with perfection! Not too pink, not too yellow, not too cream, not too beige - simply, precisely beautiful!
